Welcome to Final Approach ("the App"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
By accessing or using Final Approach, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age and that you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. If you are using the App on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
Final Approach is a mobile application designed to help users prepare for the FAA Private Pilot Knowledge Test and checkride oral exam. The App provides study flashcards, practice exams, progress tracking, and AI-powered oral exam simulation. The App is intended as a supplemental study tool and should not be the sole source of exam preparation.
To use certain features of the App, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
Final Approach offers both free and paid subscription tiers:
Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Payment terms, cancellation, and refund policies are governed by the respective store's policies. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your device's subscription management settings.
From time to time, we may offer promotional coupon codes through flight school partnerships or special promotions. Coupon codes are subject to the following conditions:
All content in the App, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio clips, and software, is the property of Final Approach or its content suppliers and is protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You retain ownership of any content you create within the App (such as notes or study progress). By using the App, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store and process your content solely for the purpose of providing the service to you.
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. We make no guarantees regarding exam outcomes or pass rates.
Important: Final Approach is a study aid and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or a substitute for official FAA training programs, certified flight instructors, or FAA-approved ground schools.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FINAL APPROACH SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR USE, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE APP.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes through the App or via email. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the App will immediately cease.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of the state in which Final Approach operates.
